This one was a challenge. As normally, dark stains that has been in the timber for a very long time is difficult to remove. The clients wanted a very light result. Which can cause patches to appear- But it is a good thing that we know how to deal with that potential issue.
Before- see the incredibly dark stain, applied directly to the pine. This means that the stain has penetrated deep into the timber, making any repairs/ redaction difficult.
After- but there is no worries for us, using a few different methods. We got a large majority of the colour out and a beautiful light lime wash made the whole room feel much more modern and lets in a lot more light.
