Transforming Apartment Floors with Rubio Penetrating Oil - Murrumbeena

Introduction

At MyFlooring, we take pride in enhancing the longevity and aesthetics of timber floors. This project involved refinishing engineered timber floors in an apartment for a builder friend, showcasing the effectiveness of using Rubio penetrating oil for durable and beautiful results.

  • Before: Worn in places of high traffic

The Original State of the Project

The apartment featured pre-finished engineered timber floors that had tenants living in it. This was the first time the floors would be refinished, and the goal was to ensure they could withstand tenant use and last longer.

  • After sanding, much better with damages removed.

How We Solved the Issue

To address the need for durability and longevity, we sanded the floors completely and refinished them using Rubio penetrating oil instead of the traditional water-based polyurethane. This choice not only enhanced the floor’s appearance but also provided superior protection and ease of maintenance.

The Transformation

The transformation was simple yet highly effective. The engineered timber floors looked revitalized and more durable, ready to withstand the demands of tenant use. The Rubio penetrating oil brought out the natural beauty of the wood while ensuring long-lasting protection.

  • After: The colour would lighten up over time as this is fresh oil.

Benefits of Using Rubio Penetrating Oil
